Best new gay series
Well my friends, it is June, which means its time for networks to prove how much they care about us through creating new LGBTQ+ programming, and I dont represent just creating a Voices of Pride section on their primary interface that houses all the Homosexual movies in their catalog as well as television they made and cancelled in the past.
Most importantly is that there will be a new season of The Ultimatum: Lgbtq+ Love, and that will make everything else okay! Furthermore, I am recapping And Just Like That so if you love witty captions, be sure to check that out.

Queer TV to watch this spring
As the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences wrapped up the voting for nominations in its annual race for the Emmy Awards this week, much of Hollywood (and countless fans with favorite contenders of their own) was buzzing with speculation about who and what will be included when the final slate of nominees is announced on July 15 – but just in time for Pride Month, GALECA (The Society of LGBTQ Amusement Critics) has stolen a bit of its thunder.
The second largest entertainment journalists group in the earth, GALECA is made up of members who, as the group’s press unleash proudly states, ”write and work for some of the most respected and buzz-worthy media outlets in the U.S. and beyond.” Last week, the group announced its list of nominees for the 16th Annual Dorian TV Awards, representing the “queer eye’s” choices for the finest in television and streaming, among both mainstream and LGBTQ content – and the list of contenders includes an exciting mix of A-listers, icons, and up-and-coming stars. The Greatest LGBT Films and TV Shows of
Look over the menagerie of LGBT movies and TV shows released in carefully enough, and youll uncover as many concealed gems as you will worsening cracks. In others words, theres good news and bad news — but in the years overall impressive lineup, also a glimmer of hope.
On the little screen, the seemingly unending aftermath of the streaming bubble burst from saw the Cancel Your Gays trend press forward as LGBT series ended abruptly, and fewer projects were green lit to take their place. Stand-up comedy specials, particularly those at Netflix, continued to platform conflicting political voices with hugely disparate views about human rights — which created some bizarre situations, for good and for bad.
There have been reported declines in onscreen queer visibility across film too, albeit not as stark as those impacting actors on television. Still, looking back at a year that included several remarkable achievement stories from throughout queer cinema, the silver screened side of the industry certainly seems more hopeful heading
How do I begin to depict the experience of crawling through the desert of my broken mind in search of lgbtq+ characters for this months streaming guide, I suppose I could begin by calling it complicated, while also educational! When theres nothing big to center the guide around, I am forced to look deeply into every single show in the entire universe in search of a bit lesbian character and it turns out many of them have been here all along! But often in ways that are kind of ambiguous, not important enough for us to know about it until this months research and in most cases, I cant figure out if theyre gonna do anything else gay in the future. One can only pray.
That said, September is a month with some good stuff coming your way in general, even though that stuff is not centered on queer women, including stuff with gay male characters and stuff starring queer female actors. Normally I wouldnt even note this stuff but desperate times! Theres gonna be three (3) Ryan Murphy projects such as horror show Grotesquerie, starring out actors Neicy Nash-Be
